What is pawn shop management software?
Software that runs the whole operation of a pawn shop: taking a pledge, describing and valuing the items, printing the slip, keeping the statutory register, calculating interest, handling part payments, renewals and partial releases, sending reminders, running auctions, and keeping the shop's cash book — ideally all from the same entries.
Is it different from gold loan software?

Can it handle non-gold items?

Yes, including dot-matrix and thermal printers and pre-printed forms. Bring a sample to the demo.
How does part payment and partial release work?
A customer can pay part of the interest or principal, and release some ornaments from a multi-item pledge while the rest stay with you. The balance and accrued interest recalculate correctly for what remains — worth testing carefully against any product you evaluate.
