One product, one industry, eighteen years. FinAcc exists to take the manual work out of pawnbroking and gold finance — the interest arithmetic, the registers, the reminders and the books — for the small and mid-size businesses that make up most of this trade in India.
Why we only do this one thing
Gold lending in India is not a small corner of finance. It is how a very large number of households raise money quickly, and it is run overwhelmingly by family businesses — a single counter in a district town, a financier with four branches, a small NBFC. Those businesses have real operational complexity: interest schemes that differ from shop to shop, statutory registers that differ by state, repledge arrangements with banks, and customers who need to be spoken to in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada or Hindi.
Generic accounting software does not handle any of that, and enterprise lending platforms are built for a different scale and priced accordingly. FinAcc was started in 2008 to sit in that gap, and it has stayed there. We do not build jewellery retail software, or generic ERP, or anything else. One product, one industry.
What that buys a customer is unglamorous but useful: when you describe a problem, the person on the phone has almost certainly seen it before.
How we work
Migration is on us
We move your live loans free of charge and reconcile against your own book before go-live. An implementation that stalls halfway is bad for both of us, so we do not price it as an optional extra.
You own the licence
A one-time purchase, yours for life. The annual fee is for support, updates and hosting — not rent on software you already bought.
Support in your language
Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu and English — from people who know the product and the trade, not a scripted first line.
We will tell you no
If your business is better served by a cheaper product, or by an enterprise platform we cannot match, we say so on the call rather than after the invoice.
Cloud or your own hardware
Recommended on your connection, not on what is fashionable. Plenty of our customers run on-premise and are right to.
Your data is yours
Full export on request, in a standard format, without having to explain why.
